  1. These are great for crafters and beginners. They shed hair too much for me to use in my painting. They do hold a good amount of water and color and lay it down on paper fairly smoothly, but trying to flick hairs off my paintings gets annoying.

  2. I’m an intermediate-level painter and think these are very good brushes. Hold water well, smooth flow and comes to a nice point without any errant hairs. Just what I needed and at a very good price. I would highly recommend these brushes to any level painter.

  3. Finally having the time to use these brushes, and I am happy to be able to do the smaller details more precisely on my minor-hobby of acrylic art painting. I call it minor only because of the small amount of time I can devote to it, as opposed to the hours I would prefer spending bringing a blank canvas to life.

  4. These have lost their „bong“ in just one month of middle school students using them once a week. If they were more careful with them it may be different but alas, they are not. I am in a constant search for watercolor brushes for kids that act like watercolor brushes and last at least a year. I buy these myself so they need to be affordable. These brushes are affordable but someone who cares about brushes should use them.

  5. Great product for what you pay. The bristles aren’t too soft or firm and haven’t had any problems cleaning the bristles. I’ve only use the smallest 3 brushes so far. Great for painting models or fixing bootleg figures.

  6. Perfect. I’ve been doing those paint by numbers on canvas and these work perfectly for them as the brushes they came with don’t help at all with the teeny tiny areas. These are great quality. Will definitely buy again!

  7. A great value for 50 small brushes. The hair are flexible and not stray. The handle is comfortable. I am using it for watercolor and very happy with my purchase. I will definitely buy all 3 sizes later. There is no problem to use brushes for several times though they are basically disposable. I tried to wash them, but if I feel the hair is not sharp enough, I just toss it without feeling guilty. What is more, you could use them to dip in any kind of oil and apply to any places when you don’t want to get your hands oily. They are so affordable so you could use it anywhere you feel appropriate.

  8.  I have been using this type of brushes for a couple of days before coming back to give the review here. Overall, I am very satisfied with them due to its very affordable price and adequate performance. They can hold a sharp point, can resume its shape quickly after I lay down a brush stroke, and they are durable for a couple of days without a problem in my painting.Of course, because they cost so much less I don’t expect they can deliver equal performance as those expensive kolinsky sable brushes do for a long time (yes, I do have some expensive brushes like Winsor & Newton Series 7 that I frequently use in my painting). But they are so affordable that I can even just throw a brush away when its performance started to degrade a bit after a few days of use. No need to worry about or spend extra time to take care of the brushes as I used to for my expensive brushes because I have 50 brushes in a pack! That’s really good for me and saving me time.Overall, 5 stars and highly recommended budget product in supplement to my current set of brushes.[Edit on Oct 31] Added a short video here that I recorded using my mobile phone when receiving the pack a few months ago. I have been using this pack of brushes for some time and I am very satisfied with it. A really great deal with a great balance between performance and unit price. I will certainly order more when these are used up.

  9. I was very surprised and pleased with these brushes. They hold point very well even after multiple cleanings. I like that the end tops of the brush hairs don’t bend out of shape after a couple of uses.
