  1. I’ll sum up at the start for people who don’t want to ready my whole review: These bags and boards were perfect.I don’t read a lot of comics in general but I read the canonical comic followups to the Buffy and Angel series. I pick them up from my local comic book store every few months so I can read them a few at a time. Last year I kept buying them when I didn’t have time to read them, and then by the time I did I couldn’t remember where I put them! As a result, I was missing a few issues and was falling far behind in Buffy Season 9 and Angel & Faith. I mentioned this to the guys at my local shop and they sold me a short box to store them in so I would stop losing them. When I got home, I hunted all over the house and tracked down almost all of the issues–they still barely filled the box even halfway! Because of this they kept falling and bending and I realized I better get some bags and boards to keep them from getting damaged. I know they sell those at my local shop as well, but I needed a lot and I was worried it could get pricey. So I did what I always day and scoped things out on Amazon!I put everything together last night, and these did the job perfectly. People saying their comics don’t fit are not reading the „Current“ part of „Current Comic Book Bags and Boards.“ People saying the boards didn’t fit in the bags must have gotten a bad batch because mine were all just right. The boards have a dull side and a slick, shiny side. I don’t know if there is a standard way to keep them, but I put them in shiny side up figuring the comics might slide in and out easier that way. My back hurts a bit today from being hunched over stuffing all the bags, but now I feel that my comics are finally safe from being bent and lost. And for less than twenty cents per bag/board!I highly recommend these, and I will definitely be purchasing more.

  2. I’m completely sold on these bags. My comic store sold their own brand of resealable bags. However, these bags from Ultra Pro are far superior. The flap on the bags I purchased from my comic book store was a little too long for my taste. The flap on the bag is not too long and the plastic itself is a perfect fit for all current size comics. These are perfect in every way.

  3. A lot of people don’t like these because they can get stuck to the comics. However I fold the flap all the way back and hold it down with my finger; no problems. If it does get stuck to your comic, its probably due to operator error.

  4. Bought more of these other day. Arrived fast as usual, packaging was done well, no missing, damaged or torn comic bags. You can peel back the bottom portion of the bag to access the reseable comics. These comic bags size 6 7/8in by 10 1/2in fits and works well with comic board size 6 3/4in by 10 1/2in. Not too snug, or tight, and not too loose. If you are using comic boards to help protect your comics, it fits most 1980s and 1990s comics. Been redoing few hundreds of my comics and most of them fit. I do have to buy larger size comic boards and comic bags for the thicker, larger and book type size. The comic bag and comic board should only hold one comic. You can try two comics but it will be really tight and may damaged your comic. Until they make comic bags better again in another 10 years or so, will keep these for now, or until something else better is available. Also you can use the comic bags for other things besides comics. Put shirts into it, seal it. Clothes, anything else you can think of that will fit and seems reasonable to keep it lasting longer. DVD cases. Anyways, again make sure if you are using this size comic bag (and brand) try to also get the comic boards size 6 3/4in by 10 1/2in, these two will work well together. Fits most 1980s and 1990s comics (DC, Marvel, Image, Variant, Dark Horse, etc). At least the ones I have.

  5. These bags and boards are a great buy for its price point. Almost $16 (at the time of this review) with free Prime shipping for 100 bags and boards? Sign me up! My family has two moderate comic book collectors which means buying in singles or small batches isn’t very efficient and, unfortunately, spending near $40 at my local comic book shop for the same amount of bags/boards makes my wallet weep (on top of all the comics we buy).Overall, they did the job. The bags are decently made (although the plastic is kinda „cheap“ feeling) but you can tell that some of these bags have defects from production with some fitting the boards smoothly while others require a bit more careful force to put the board in the bag. A couple of the boards also had bends/curling on the edges which made it kinda awkward to use them but they were still useable. Since some people mentioned being shorted bags/boards, I decided to manually count each but thankfully, I was not shorted any bags or boards. No regrets on this purchase so far and I am willing to buy them again even with all the minor nitpicks.

  6. I guess it’s a common problem. The bags are too small, or of inconsistent size. The last 100 bcw current bags and boards I bought seemed tight but I used them. These are unusable. I had a leftover bag of bcw current bags with no boards (go figure) from some time ago and tried them with a few of the boards from this order and they were fine. I could stuff a big fat annual in there no problem. You could see the new bags were smaller. They’re cheap, easy to return. But I’m gonna try a different brand. I think I might go back to my old routine of buying bags one size larger than my books from now on as well.
